Your journey begins as you depart from Nairobi, traversing the scenic Thika Superhighway on a 105-kilometer drive that takes approximately 2 to 3 hours.
Arriving in Sagana, a charming town nestled at the southern foot of Mt. Kenya, you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome and served a cup of coffee or tea along with biscuits. A short but essential safety briefing follows, ensuring you’re prepared for the adventure ahead.
Equipped with life jackets, helmets, and paddles, you’ll head to the departure point to commence your unforgettable river expedition. The initial stretch of the tour introduces you to Class II and III rapids, allowing you to acquire the necessary paddling skills under the guidance of experienced instructors.
